Hypoglycemia
Hypoglycemia
Hypoglycemia is when blood glucose levels drop too low to provide energy for the body. If you never knew glucose is the fuel for your body that is absorbed and carried to cells and used for energy. There are three types of hypoglycemia as well; one being biabetic hypoglycemia, fasting hypoglycemia, and reactive hypoglycemia
Diabetic hypoglycemia can happen when a diabetic takes inslin and doesn't eat. The insulin still lowers the blood sugar level and when it reaches too low it turns into hypoiglycemia. Fasting hypoglycemia is when a person fasting can not make enough glucose to provide energy for their body. Last of all reactive hypoglycemia. Reactive hypoglycemia has no proven cause. Researchers think that certain people may have trouble with the horomone epinephrine, we do know that stomach surgery is a causealong with rare enzyme deficienceies, and fructose intolerance.
